The president of the network of Spain's Magical Towns, Francisco Martín, and director Noelia Guzmán have visited Vallehermoso for the first time. Mayor Emiliano Coello and his team have discussed projects to enhance tourism and local development.

The Vallehermoso Town Hall was the venue this Thursday for a key meeting regarding the municipality's tourism future. The president of the network of Spain's Magical Towns, Francisco Martín, and director Noelia Guzmán arrived in La Gomera to hold their first official meeting with Mayor Emiliano Coello, government group members, and municipal technicians.

A working day to outline the future

The visit began with a working meeting where various projects and proposals for the municipality were discussed. The team from Spain's Magical Towns presented the tools, resources, and actions that the association provides to the municipalities integrated into the network, aiming to strengthen their promotion, dynamism, and development.

During the meeting, different lines of collaboration were analysed to continue promoting the natural, historical, and cultural heritage of Vallehermoso. New initiatives were also studied to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the network for promoting the municipality.

“This first official visit represents an excellent opportunity to continue strengthening collaboration with Spain's Magical Towns and to learn about new tools that contribute to the promotion and enhancement of our municipality,” highlighted Mayor Emiliano Coello.

The mayor added that they are convinced this first meeting will mark the beginning of new projects to continue showcasing all the potential of Vallehermoso.

A boost for the Gomeran municipality

Vallehermoso has been part of the Network of Spain's Magical Towns for some time, and this institutional visit represents a step forward in the relationship between both parties. The Town Hall thus reaffirms its commitment to promoting the municipality through initiatives that help strengthen its identity, energise the territory, and highlight the resources that make Vallehermoso a unique destination.

For the residents, this collaboration can translate into more visitors, greater economic activity, and new opportunities for local businesses. The network of Spain's Magical Towns groups charming locations with distinctive heritage and offers support in marketing, training, and events.

The first contact has laid the groundwork for future lines of collaboration. Although no specific projects have been announced, the atmosphere has been positive, and both parties have expressed their willingness to work together in the short and medium term.

The Vallehermoso Town Hall has thanked the visit and committed to continuing actions that enhance the municipality. The coming months will be crucial to see how these intentions materialise into real initiatives that benefit the population.
