The event, scheduled for this weekend, will not take place on the initial dates. The organising committee is seeking new dates to ensure the quality of the event.

The Lanzarote Titeroygatra Escuderia and the organising committee of the III EcoRally Lanzarote have announced the postponement of the event, which was to be held this weekend as part of the Spanish Championship of Alternative Energies. The decision, communicated this Thursday, responds to the need to ensure the highest standards of organisational and sporting quality.

A postponement to safeguard excellence

The organisers have formally requested a postponement from the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation (RFEDA) and the Commission of Alternative Energies. The absolute priority is to preserve the "health" of the event and ensure that all components function perfectly, as explained in a statement.

"We are fully aware of the inconveniences that this decision may cause, but it is a step we take from the strictest responsibility and an unwavering commitment to our sport and our island," the organisation states. The goal is not just to add another edition to the calendar, but to elevate this event to the world elite of sustainable motorsport.

A top-level tourist showcase

The EcoRally Lanzarote aims to become an international benchmark in sustainable mobility and to act as a tourist showcase for the island. The immersive experience seeks to highlight the sport, natural heritage, culture, gastronomy, and the unique identity of Lanzarote, under the slogan "One goal, one destination. Live Lanzarote."

For the island's residents, the postponement is a setback, but it also guarantees that the event, if held, will be of top quality. Motor enthusiasts and sustainable tourism fans will have to wait to enjoy this event, which promises to be the best edition in its history.

New dates on the horizon

The entire team continues to work to coordinate and confirm the new dates with the RFEDA. The announcement will be made public as soon as possible through official channels. "Rest assured that this year we will give our best version to make the wait worthwhile," conclude the organisers, who thank participants, sponsors, and fans for their understanding.

Meanwhile, the Lanzarote Titeroygatra Escuderia maintains its commitment to excellence. Registered teams should stay alert for upcoming communications to adjust their schedules. The event, although delayed, promises to be unforgettable.
