The ResisTIME festival, born in La Palma in 2022, celebrates its fifth edition on July 10 at the football field in El Paso with a line-up headed by Ke Personajes, Ráfaga, Nacho, Bacilos, and Yami Safdie.

The ResisTIME festival, which started in La Palma during a delicate time for the island, turns five years old with its most ambitious line-up yet. The event will take place on Friday, July 10 at the football field in El Paso, with Latin music as the main attraction. The organisers expect to surpass the 15,000 attendees from the last edition.

A Line-up that Blends Virality and Legend

The headliners are Ke Personajes, the Argentine cumbia phenomenon that is taking digital platforms by storm, and Ráfaga, a classic of the genre with over twenty years of experience. They are joined by Nacho, former member of the Venezuelan duo Chino & Nacho; Bacilos, winners of several Latin Grammys; and Yami Safdie, one of the young voices of Latin pop with significant appeal. The closing act will be the orchestra Nueva Línea, known for their viral covers.

The organisation claims that the line-up for this fifth anniversary is the most balanced across generations: those who grew up with the rhythms of Ráfaga and Bacilos will share the stage with younger fans singing along to the hits of Ke Personajes and Yami Safdie. A cocktail that promises to leave no one indifferent.

From 4,000 to Nearly 15,000 Attendees in Five Years

ResisTIME started in 2022 with 4,000 people, just after the volcanic eruption in La Palma. Since then, the festival has continued to grow: in 2023, it doubled its attendance, in 2024 it approached 10,000, and in 2025 it reached nearly 15,000. For this fifth edition, the organisers are confident of surpassing that figure, although they have not provided a specific forecast.

This growth has been made possible thanks to the support of the El Paso City Council and the Cabildo of La Palma, as well as the sponsorship of Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida. The production company El Time Eventos, along with T-Rec, is once again at the helm of the organisation, drawing on their experience from other major events like the Isla Bonita Love Festival and the Aridane + Dance.

The Football Field in El Paso, Home of the Festival

The stage will once again be the football field in El Paso, which has hosted the previous four editions. This year's production will be the most ambitious, according to its managers, with improvements in sound and lighting. Set-up will begin in the coming days, and the venue is expected to be ready to welcome thousands of attendees.

For the residents of El Paso and all of La Palma, the festival has become an unmissable summer event. Not only for the music but also because it serves as an economic boost for the area: hotels, restaurants, and local businesses feel the influx of visitors coming from other islands and the mainland. The organisation recommends purchasing tickets in advance at Tomaticket.es, as they sold out weeks before last year.

ResisTIME was born in La Palma and has grown with La Palma

The organisation's phrase encapsulates the spirit of the festival. What started as a cultural initiative during a volcanic crisis has solidified as one of the reference musical events in the Canary Islands. And all signs point to this fifth anniversary being the most memorable. However, those who do not have tickets yet better hurry: the Latin rhythm waits for no one.
