The festival takes place from July 16 to 18 at the Port Venue of the Tenerife capital. The organisers have divided the days into three themes: Urban, Latin and Tropical.

The esplanade of the Port Venue of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is preparing to welcome the third edition of the Tenerife Cook Music Fest from this Thursday, July 16 to Saturday, July 18. The festival, which combines music and gastronomy, has scheduled 19 performances over three themed nights that will turn the capital of Chicharrero into the epicentre of Latin, urban, and tropical rhythms of the archipelago.

The venue will open its doors each day at 16:00, except on Saturday, when they will open half an hour earlier, at 15:30. The organisers have set up dining areas with food trucks and relaxation zones for attendees, who will be able to enjoy live music from early afternoon until dawn.

Thursday, July 16: kicking off with reggaeton and urban music

The first day, dubbed Urban Mood, kicks off at 16:00 with the opening of doors and the entertainment of DJs Rodrigo Fénix, Wes, and Juseph. On the main stage, Puerto Rican Farruko will be the one to open the concerts at 18:15, followed by the 'queen of reggaeton' Ivy Queen at 20:05. The highlight of the night will arrive at 22:00 with Don Omar, and the evening will close with Myke Towers at 23:45.

The festival has arranged a security device with access controls and identification wristbands to avoid overcrowding. Attendees will be able to access the venue from 16:00, although the major concerts do not start until mid-afternoon.

Friday, July 17: Latin pop with Chayanne and Gente de Zona

The second night, Latin Mood, will have the same opening time of 16:00. The intermissions will be handled by Gynebra, Miss Music Band, DJ JRodriguez, and Ledes Díaz. On stage, the first performance will be by Emily Estefan at 17:30, followed by Colombian Greeicy at 19:00 and Olga Tañón at 20:30. The most anticipated moment of the day will arrive at 22:30 with Puerto Rican Chayanne, who returns to the Canaries after his appearance at the Granca Live Fest. Gente de Zona will close the night at 00:30.

The organisers recommend arriving early to avoid queues, as a high turnout is expected, especially on Friday. Residents of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be able to enjoy the festival without needing to travel off the island, which is a boost for the local economy.

Saturday, July 18: tropical closure with salsa and merengue

The last day, Tropical Mood, will open earlier at 15:30. Canarian artist Anaé will be one of the participants of the day, which kicks off with Tito Nieves at 17:00. He will be followed by Luis Enrique at 19:00, Sergio Vargas at 21:00, Elvis Crespo at 23:00, and Los Hermanos Rosario will close at 01:00 on Sunday morning.

The festival bids farewell with a varied offering of Caribbean rhythms that promises to make the audience dance until well into the night. Attendees can check updated schedules on the official event website and on the venue's screens.

For those who are late, tickets are still available on the festival's page, although the organisers warn that capacity is limited. Those who cannot attend will be able to follow the concerts through the event's social media, where some segments will be streamed live.
