The fourth edition of Burger Fest Canarias will be held on July 17, 18, and 19 in Plaza de Canarias, next to Parque Santa Catalina. More than 25 restaurants, live music and free entry.
The most anticipated burger festival of the summer in Gran Canaria returns to the capital. Plaza de Canarias, in the vicinity of Parque Santa Catalina, will host the fourth edition of Burger Fest Canarias Las Palmas from July 17 to 19, an event that combines urban gastronomy, live music, and outdoor leisure with completely free entry.
More than 25 restaurants and a contest with cash prizes
This edition will feature more than 25 restaurants from the Canary Islands, offering some of the most outstanding burgers from the Archipelago. The festival includes a vegan area and 100% gluten-free options, a sweet space for dessert lovers, and a selection of craft and imported beers.
The traditional culinary contest will award the best burgers. The first place will receive 500 euros, the second 300 euros, and the third 150 euros. Additionally, the Audience Award, worth 150 euros, will allow attendees to vote for their favourite burger.
Live music throughout the three days
The musical programme will kick off on Friday, July 17, with performances by Tana Sandoval, José Viera, and Evando Moreira, from 18:00 to midnight. On Saturday, July 18, José Viera, Beat Creator, and Sanfry will take the stage, along with a live performance by La Tribu Pop, one of the most anticipated acts of the weekend.
On Sunday, July 19, the festival will close with performances by Deepak Daswani, Las Mellizas DJ, and Fano Sánchez. Three days of rhythm to accompany every bite.
A staple event in the summer calendar
Following the success of previous editions, Burger Fest Canarias has established itself as one of the gastronomic events of the summer in the capital of Gran Canaria. The event is sponsored by the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands.
For the residents of the capital, the festival offers an opportunity to enjoy a varied culinary selection without leaving the city, in an outdoor setting with activities for the whole family. Attendees will be able to taste creations from local restaurants and discover the latest trends in urban gastronomy.
The hours on Friday and Saturday will be from 18:00 to 00:00, and on Sunday from 12:00 to 22:00. Entry is free until capacity is reached. An unmissable event for burger lovers that, as a classic would say, is always worth repeating.
