The Elba Corralejo Resort & Spa, a four-star hotel, will open on November 1, 2026, a month earlier than planned. The complex features 956 beds, 24 pools, and four restaurants.
The Anjoca group has announced that its new hotel in Corralejo, the Elba Corralejo Resort & Spa, will open on November 1, 2026. Initially, the planned date was December 1. The news has been met with anticipation in the north of Fuerteventura, where tourism is the main economic driver.
A Resort with Two Worlds: Family and Adults Only
The four-star establishment spans 50,000 square meters of hotel facilities and 16,000 square meters of gardens. The chain has dubbed the concept 'One Resort, two worlds', with distinct areas for families and for adults seeking tranquility.
For adult-only guests, the hotel offers premium areas with a pool and private sun terrace, the Exclusive All Day Pool Club 'The Bow', swim-up rooms, and junior suites with private pools. Additionally, there is a spa for guests over 16 and a gym with activities such as yoga and pilates.
Families, on the other hand, will enjoy 4,000 square meters of children's and sports facilities, including the mini-water park Pepe Aqua Land. In total, the complex has 24 pools, six of which are river-style, covering a total area of 4,000 square meters.
€100 Million Investment and 400 Direct Jobs
The Anjoca group has invested €100 million in this seventh hotel in Fuerteventura. According to company sources, the construction has generated around 500 jobs, and once operational, the hotel will create approximately 400 direct jobs. The La Oliva Town Hall has already received €1,416,934.09 from the urban planning license fees, unanimously approved in October 2023.
The hotel is located on Médano Street in Corralejo, on a plot of 66,352 square meters, in urban land of the Corralejo Playa development, behind the Civil Guard barracks and very close to the El Campanario shopping centre. The building has two basements and three above-ground floors.
Culinary and Leisure Offerings for All Tastes
The Elba Corralejo will feature four restaurants with à la carte and buffet options, as well as four bars. The 478 rooms are distributed among 52 swim-up rooms with direct access to the river-style pool and 15 junior suites with private pools and sun terraces. The chain is committed to quality tourism, with exclusive services aimed at attracting both couples and families.
For the residents of La Oliva and the rest of Fuerteventura, the opening of the hotel represents an economic and employment boost in an area that already has six other Anjoca complexes in El Castillo, such as the Elba Palace Golf Boutique Hotel or the Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort. The arrival of this new resort strengthens the tourist offer in the north of the island, which continues to grow at a good pace.
