The free programme from the Agüimes Town Hall offers children's shows, concerts, and water activities every weekend in August at various points along the Arinaga coast.
The Soco Negro, Los Barquillos, the lifeguard station, and the Caseta del Muelle will be the venues for around thirty performances starting on Saturday, 1st August. The programme 'An Outdoor Summer' returns to Arinaga with a proposal designed for families from the municipality and visitors to enjoy the coastline without spending a penny.
Children's shows and live music every weekend
Saturdays will kick off at 12:00 with children's performances, followed at 16:00 by Bailarinaga sessions and at 19:00 by concerts. On the first Saturday, 1st August, clown Totó el Payaso and the music of Yet Garbey will entertain at Soco Negro. The following day, Sundays will be filled with music at 16:00 and 17:00, with Fran Suárez and Rodian as the first artists at the same location.
Additionally, on Sunday mornings, from 10:00, the little ones can cool off with children's water activities at Soco Negro. A free alternative to combat the summer heat while parents enjoy the surroundings.
Magic, humour, and violinists at Los Barquillos
On the second weekend, the festivities will move to the Los Barquillos area, on Avenida de Los Pescadores, next to the ficus tree. There, on Saturday, 8th August, Chispita Clown will present a magic and humour show, followed by performances from violinist José Luis Montesdeoca, the group Pick Up, and a new Bailarinaga session with Paco Guedes.
On Sunday, 9th August, music will take centre stage again with concerts at 16:00 and 17:00, although the source does not specify the artists for that day. What is confirmed is that the programme will maintain the same schedule throughout the month.
Circópatas, Reina de Sal, and plenty of rhythm
On 15th and 16th August, the fun continues with the children's show Circópatas, the performance by Reina de Sal, and concerts by Fran Suárez and Señor Natilla. Two days designed to enjoy summer by the sea, in an environment that combines leisure and nature.
The lifeguard station will take over on 22nd and 23rd August with performances by Payaso Zapitto, Kalima Limón, José Luis Montesdeoca, and Haché Tamarindos. The programme will conclude on the last weekend of August at the Caseta del Muelle with Aníbal el Mago, Kilian Viera, José Luis Montesdeoca, and the group Maldita EGB.
A free plan for the whole family
The Agüimes Town Hall has designed this programme so that locals and tourists can enjoy the coast without worrying about their wallets. All activities are free and aimed at a family audience, from the youngest to adults. The initiative aims to energise the Arinaga coastline during August, offering quality leisure alternatives.
