A venue on General Vives street in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria offers 21 varieties of potato tortilla, including Canarian flavours such as Teror chorizo, and pieces weighing up to 8 kilos. La Tasquita D'Jane has become a gastronomic reference in the capital.

La Tasquita D'Jane, located at General Vives, 51, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, has managed to carve out a niche in the local gastronomic scene thanks to its focus on potato tortilla. With 21 varieties and sizes reaching 8 kilos, the establishment attracts both locals and tourists looking to try traditional and innovative combinations.

Content creators @grancanaria.atugusto recently visited the venue and shared their experience on social media, describing it as "the tortillas everyone is talking about on the island." Among the options they tried, the Teror chorizo tortilla stood out, a nod to Canarian cuisine that, according to them, "is absolutely delicious."

The menu includes flavours such as truffle, almogrote, loin and bacon, zucchini and prawns, paisana, serrano ham, tuna, sausages, blood sausage and apple, leek, chistorra, goat cheese roll and caramelised onion, salami, and garlic and parsley. Additionally, customers can customise their own tortilla by choosing the ingredients they prefer.

Size is another attraction. La Tasquita D'Jane offers three formats: small for 18 euros, medium for 30 euros, and large for 45 euros. The large tortilla weighs approximately 8 kilos, making it an ideal option for sharing in a group. The venue, with a rating of 4.7 stars on Google, is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 17:00, while on weekends it only takes orders for collection.

This gastronomic proposal has generated excitement among potato tortilla lovers, an emblematic dish of Spanish cuisine. The possibility of choosing from a wide range of flavours and the generous portion sizes have made La Tasquita D'Jane a meeting point for those seeking a different culinary experience in the capital of Gran Canaria.

The residents of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria now have a new option to enjoy potato tortilla, whether to take away or to consume on-site. The combination of tradition and innovation, along with the quality of the ingredients, seems to be the key to the success of this establishment, which aims to establish itself as a benchmark in the city.
