Club Deportivo Lanzarote announced on Monday the signing of striker Andrea Rissone, coming from Orientación Marítima, where he stood out as the top scorer of the youth team with 27 goals last season. The 19-year-old player joins the first team, which competes in Group XII of Tercera RFEF.
Rissone, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, had an outstanding performance in the youth category last season, catching the attention of several Canarian clubs. Ultimately, Lanzarote has moved ahead of other suitors and secured his signing to strengthen the attack for the 2026-27 season.
The sporting director of Lanzarote, who has closely followed the player's development, highlighted in statements to the club that Rissone is “a striker with a nose for goal, fast and capable of making runs.” The youth player joins a squad that aims to improve on last season's offensive records.
Orientación Marítima, for its part, loses its main offensive reference, although the entity is pleased with the leap of its homegrown player to professional football. Rissone was trained in the lower categories of the Gran Canaria club and now begins a new chapter in Lanzarote.
