The Yaiza Town Council has announced the opening of the correction period for scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Yaiza Town Council has published the official announcement for corrections regarding the scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year, a key step for applicants who have submitted their documentation incompletely or with errors. The measure, disseminated through the municipal bulletin board, affects all study aids called by the southern municipality of Lanzarote.

According to municipal sources, interested parties will have a specified period to correct or provide the required documentation. The aim is to ensure that all applications can be evaluated on equal terms, preventing minor administrative errors from leaving students without financial assistance.

The announcement, published on the electronic headquarters and the official channels of the Yaiza Town Council, details the steps to follow for the corrections. Applicants must consult the list of deficiencies and submit the necessary documents within the established period, which is usually ten working days from the publication date.

The Education department of the Yaiza Town Council reminds that these scholarships are aimed at students registered in the municipality who are pursuing official studies at any educational level, from primary to university or vocational training. The amount and conditions vary according to the level and family income.

To facilitate the process, the Yaiza Town Council has set up a telephone and in-person assistance service at the municipal offices. Interested parties can resolve doubts about the required documentation or the status of their application.

This correction process is common in municipal scholarship calls, as it allows applicants to amend formal errors without losing the opportunity to access the aid. Last year, around 15% of applications required corrections, according to council data.

The Yaiza Town Council recommends that applicants carefully review the notification received and submit the correct documentation within the deadline. After this date, applications that have not been corrected will be excluded from the selection process.

The publication of the announcement is part of the usual calendar for the Yaiza Town Council's scholarship call, which allocates a budget each year to support the education of young people in the municipality. The total amount of aid for the 2025-2026 academic year has not yet been made public, but in previous years it has been around 100,000 euros.

Interested students can consult the full announcement on the Yaiza Town Council's website, in the bulletin board section, or visit the municipal offices for personalized information.
