The La Laguna City Council has coordinated a special operation for the Arde Bogotá concert on Saturday, August 1, at the Francisco Peraza stadium, with traffic cuts and reinforcement of public transport.
The La Laguna City Council has defined the security measures for the Arde Bogotá concert, which will take place next Saturday, August 1, at the Francisco Peraza stadium. The forecast is that the event will gather between 12,000 and 15,000 people, with doors opening at 19:00 from Tabares Bartlet Avenue and the concert starting at 21:00.
The coordination meeting was chaired by Mayor Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, accompanied by councillors Badel Albelo (Citizen Security), Fran Hernández (Municipal Services), Adrián del Castillo (Culture), and Carla Cabrera (Presidency and Planning). Technical representatives from the Autonomous Agency of Musical Activities, the Local Police, and the event's production company also participated.
The City Council strongly recommends using public transport to access the venue. Reinforcements have been scheduled on several bus lines to facilitate the movement of attendees. Additionally, traffic cuts will be implemented on various roads in the area starting at 18:00.
The cuts will affect Fuentes Cañizares road (at the intersection with San Diego), Paseo Oramas with Tabares Bartlet, Pozo Cabildo, República Argentina, and Joaquín Turina street. Exclusive access to garages for local residents will be permitted. The passage of trucks and buses will also be prohibited from Poeta Manuel Verdugo square to Marcos Redondo.
The health operation will include a field hospital coordinated with 1-1-2 and three medicalised ambulances around the stadium. Security will be reinforced with agents from the Local Police, National Police Corps, and Civil Guard, in addition to private security hired by the promoter.
Throughout the week, further coordination meetings will be held among all involved teams to finalise the last details and ensure the day proceeds without incidents.
