The cheapest 95 octane petrol in the province is today in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, at 1.245 euros per litre at the Canary Oil station. The cheapest diesel A is also in the capital of Tenerife, at 1.315 euros.

Drivers in Santa Cruz de Tenerife have several options this Tuesday to fill up without straining their wallets too much. The Canary Oil service station, located on Calle Subida al Mayorazgo, offers the cheapest 95 octane petrol in the entire province: 1.245 euros per litre. Very close by, in the El Mayorazgo Industrial Estate, the Tgas-Tu Trébol station has it at 1.248 euros.

Diesel and 98 octane petrol: the best deals of the day

For those refuelling with diesel, the most economical option is again Canary Oil, with the litre priced at 1.315 euros. It is followed by Tgas-Tu Trébol, also in El Mayorazgo, at 1.318 euros. As for 98 octane petrol, the same establishments offer the lowest prices: 1.345 and 1.348 euros respectively.

These prices provide relief for the residents of the capital, who can save several cents per litre compared to other stations on the island. The difference can be significant for those who use their cars daily to commute to work or take their children to school.

In La Palma, prices are higher

On the island of La Palma, fuels are more expensive. The cheapest 95 octane petrol is found in Santa Cruz de La Palma, at the Plenergy station in the Mirca Industrial Estate, at 1.427 euros per litre. In Puntagorda, 98 octane petrol drops to 1.650 euros at the Repsol station on the LP-114 road.

Palmeros needing to fill up will have to pay between 15 and 20 cents more per litre than in Tenerife. A difference that, according to industry sources, is due to transportation and logistics costs between the islands.

For drivers in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the recommendation is clear: if they pass near Mayorazgo, it is worth taking a slight detour. The savings, although small per litre, add up when filling a 50-litre tank: about 3.50 euros less than at other stations in the area.
