Ireauto 2000, part of the Ireauto Group, has joined Motrio, the multi-brand workshop network of Renault Group. The workshop, located in El Mayorazgo, is the first in the metropolitan area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in this new phase of expansion.

The Ireauto 2000 workshop, situated in El Mayorazgo (Santa Cruz de Tenerife), has become the first point of the Motrio network in the metropolitan area of the Tenerife capital. The official presentation, held in front of industry professionals and media, included the participation of Ireauto, Motor Arisa, and Origen, key companies in the distribution of spare parts in the Canary Islands.

A network backed by a giant in the automotive industry

Motrio was born in 2003 as the multi-brand aftermarket brand of Renault Group. Its proposal is unique: independent workshops that have the technical and commercial support of a major car manufacturer. Currently, the network comprises over 500 workshops in Spain and more than 3,000 in 20 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Among the advantages for affiliated workshops are a three-year warranty on parts and labour, preferential conditions on new, KM0, and used vehicles, and a range of over 13,000 multi-brand references covering 85% of common maintenance and wear operations.

Digital tools and continuous training

Motrio workshops have their own digital tools, such as the Motrio 360º management platform, integrated with Renault systems. Additionally, they receive ongoing technical and management training, specialized technical assistance, and preferential agreements with partners such as LeasePlan/Ayvens, Banco Sabadell (Motrio Pay financing), and Ixell.

The brand image, workshop signage, and national and local marketing campaigns are also part of the package of advantages. For the Canary Islands customer, this translates into quality service backed by a global manufacturer, but with the closeness of a local workshop.

Ireauto Group: over 35 years in the driver's seat

Ireauto Group is a family business with over 35 years of experience in the automotive sector in the Canary Islands, based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Its activities include the sale of new, KM0, and used vehicles, vans and trucks, spare parts distribution — it is an official distributor of parts for Renault Trucks, Nissan, and Volvo — and a multi-brand workshop service focused on mechanics, electricity, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.

The group also includes VIAUTO, the official Renault Trucks dealership for Santa Cruz de Tenerife. With this addition, Ireauto 2000 strengthens its service offerings and positions itself as a benchmark in the metropolitan area.

Collaboration among local players

The agreement has been made possible thanks to the collaboration between Ireauto, Motor Arisa — the Renault and Dacia dealership in Tenerife and Gran Canaria — and Origen, the company selling and distributing official spare parts for the ARI Group brands in the islands (Renault, Dacia, Mazda, Kia, Nissan, and Isuzu).

The union of these three companies aims to bring the technical and commercial support of Renault to Canary Islands workshops through Motrio. For the Tenerife driver, this means being able to access a multi-brand workshop with factory guarantees, without the need to travel to an official dealership.

The Motrio network already has operational workshops on various islands of the archipelago, and the arrival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife represents another step in its expansion. Residents of the metropolitan area can now benefit from this service at the Ireauto 2000 facilities in El Mayorazgo.
