The Cabildo of Fuerteventura has launched a special public transport service for La Carpa 2026, which will feature night buses for the first time. The lines will connect the venue with Gran Tarajal and Morro Jable during the early hours of the concerts.

Attendees of La Carpa 2026 can forget about driving. The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through the Transport Department, has implemented a special night bus service that will operate during the early hours of the concerts. This is the first edition of the festival to offer public transport for the return home, a long-standing demand from the Pájara City Council.

Dates and times of the night service

The buses will operate on the nights of 18, 19, 25 and 26 July, and 1 and 2 August, with departures between 03:00 and 06:00 in the morning. The provisional stop is located in front of the Hotel Paradisus By Meliá, in Goriones, very close to the festival venue.

Two special lines have been established. Line 01 connects to Gran Tarajal and stops at Costa Calma (Hotel Fuerteventura Playa), La Lajita (interior) and Tarajalejo (Fv-2). Line 05 heads to Morro Jable, with stops at Avenida de la Constitución and the Morro Jable Bus Station.

Affordable prices and conditions

Tickets are economical: the journey to Costa Calma or La Lajita costs 1.40 euros; to Tarajalejo, 1.95 euros; to Gran Tarajal, 3.20 euros; and to Morro Jable, 2.30 euros. The transport pass can be used, but credit card payments are not accepted, so it is advisable to carry cash.

However, there are rules: eating, drinking, and using the luggage compartments inside the buses is prohibited. The service aims to be a safe and comfortable alternative for the thousands of attendees who fill the south of the island every summer.

A commitment to sustainable mobility

The initiative, coordinated between the Cabildo and the Pájara City Council, responds to the need to reduce the use of private cars at one of the most attended events in Fuerteventura. According to sources from the Cabildo, the night service is part of the commitment to improve public transport during major events, prioritising road safety and the comfort of visitors.

For the island's residents, this new service is a relief: they no longer have to worry about driving after hours of concerts. And for tourists, it provides a simple way to return to their hotels without stress. For more information, you can visit the website www.tiadhe.com.

In short, La Carpa 2026 not only brings music but also a service that many have been eagerly requesting. Hopefully, next year it will be repeated and expanded to more lines.
