According to the official forecast, the day will begin with overcast skies from dawn until 06:00, after which the cloud cover will decrease to give way to a covered scenario for the rest of the day.
Temperatures will remain stable, with values very similar to those of Friday. The minimum will be recorded around 23:00 with 23 degrees, while the maximum will reach 26 degrees at 18:00. The wind will blow from the north, with no gusts expected that could trigger the alert in the city.
Looking ahead to Sunday, the forecast indicates a day also covered during the first half of the day, although the cloud cover will tend to decrease as the afternoon progresses. Temperatures will remain the same as Saturday, with maximums of 26 degrees and minimums of 23. The wind, again from the north, will continue to be a key factor.
On Monday, the day after tomorrow, no precipitation is expected. The outlook will be for mostly clear skies, with maximum temperatures around 26 degrees and minimums showing no significant changes. The wind will continue to blow from the north, providing a respite from the alert affecting other areas of the province.
In other municipalities of Gran Canaria, the weather will behave differently. In Telde, variable skies are expected: clouds during the early hours of the day will give way to a mostly clear environment from midday. Temperatures will range between a minimum of 21 degrees and a maximum of 27. Meanwhile, Santa Lucía de Tirajana will enjoy clear skies throughout the day, with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 22 degrees to a maximum of 31.
AEMET recommends that the public stay informed about the evolution of the warnings, especially in coastal areas where the yellow alert is active. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, however, the risk is lower and the weather conditions will be typical of a summer day, with pleasant temperatures and moderate wind.
