The new Impulso centre, covering 180 square metres, opens in the commercial area of San Gregorio with personalised training and physical rehabilitation services for all ages.

The commercial area of San Gregorio, in Telde, now has a new space dedicated to well-being and health. This is Impulso, a training and physical rehabilitation centre that has opened its doors with the aim of providing personalised support to people of all ages.

The facilities, spanning 180 square metres, specialise in functional training, personalised training, and physical rehabilitation. Its methodology is based on designing individualised programmes tailored to the needs, conditions, and goals of each user, as well as supporting injury recovery processes.

The centre features accessible bathrooms and changing rooms, ensuring user comfort and accessibility during their stay. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:00 to 11:00 and 16:30 to 21:30, and on Fridays from 7:00 to 11:00 and 16:30 to 18:30.

Leading this business project is Néstor Báez, a graduate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, a Secondary Education teacher, and a professional with over seven years of experience in sports centres. He has also worked as a physical trainer for three seasons in the youth categories of UD Las Palmas.

The mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Peña, recently visited the facilities and highlighted the importance of supporting youth entrepreneurship. “Every new business that opens its doors in Telde represents an opportunity to continue growing our city and strengthening our commercial spaces. Projects like Impulso, linked to well-being, health, and physical activity, enrich the offerings of the San Gregorio area and demonstrate the talent and entrepreneurial capacity of our youth,” he stated.

The opening of Impulso reinforces the range of well-being services in the municipality, in a context of growing interest in health and physical exercise. The centre joins other businesses that have committed to revitalising the commercial area of San Gregorio, one of Telde's traditional commercial hubs.
