The Councillor for Local Development, Nayra Navarro, visited the businesses in San Gregorio and Salinetas to congratulate them on their consolidation and commitment to quality.
The Local Development Department of the Telde City Council has sought to highlight the effort and trajectory of two businesses in the municipality: Compra Natural Canarias, in San Gregorio, and Ferretería y Saneamientos Costa Salinas, in Salinetas. Councillor Nayra Navarro visited both establishments to learn firsthand about their activities and convey institutional support.
During the meetings, Navarro congratulated the business owners for their contribution to the economic dynamism of Telde and their commitment to specialisation and quality. “From the City Council, we want to be close to our businesses, to know their stories and to recognise the effort behind each consolidated business,” declared the councillor.
Compra Natural Canarias, run by local resident Sara Cano, has just celebrated three years with a physical store at 21 Alonso Quesada Street, in the Open Commercial Zone of San Gregorio. However, the business project has been operating for six years, as the first three were exclusively online, a platform that is still active. The business specialises in natural cosmetics and hair care, with particular attention to curly, wavy, and afro hair. Among its services are mud treatments, specialised hairdressing, and a wide range of organic products and dyes.
The entrepreneur offers personalised advice to her clients. The store's hours are Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00, and extended on Wednesday to Saturday afternoons from 15:00 to 18:00.
On the other hand, Ferretería y Saneamientos Costa Salinas, run by Jorge Manuel Santana Ramos, has accumulated twelve years of activity in the coastal area of Telde, establishing itself as a reference in Salinetas and throughout the municipality. The business offers tools, materials, and products for construction, renovations, and maintenance, catering to both professionals and individuals. Its success is based on the close attention and expert advice of its team.
Navarro highlighted “the ability of these businesses to adapt, specialise, and remain as leaders in their sectors,” and emphasised that “behind every consolidated business are years of work and effort.” The visit is part of the City Council's initiative to engage with the local business community, aiming to recognise the work of companies that generate employment and invigorate the neighbourhoods.
Both establishments are active on social media, on Instagram as @compranaturalcanarias and @ferreteriacostasalinas, where they showcase their products and services.
