Escudería Aterura has presented the itinerary for the 45th edition of the Rallye Villa de Teror, which will take place on 25 and 26 September. Eight special stages will total around 88 timed kilometres.
The 45th Rallye Villa de Teror now has its roadmap. Escudería Aterura, the organiser of the event in collaboration with the Teror City Council, has unveiled the timed stages for the 2026 edition, which will be held on 25 and 26 September. The route design maintains the scheme from the previous year, with three classic specials that will be repeated between two and three times throughout Saturday.
In total, participants will face eight special stages that add up to approximately 88 kilometres against the clock. The distances are, however, pending a final exact measurement, although the organisation has already disclosed the planned layouts.
The first of the specials will be Teror-Utiaca, with a distance of 10.34 kilometres, which will be run three times. Next is Artenara-Cruz de Tejeda, the longest at 13.95 kilometres, also with three runs. Finally, the Zumacal-Los Castillos stage, measuring 7.52 kilometres, will be contested twice. All of these stages take place in the usual areas of the rally, well-known to fans in the region.
Escudería Aterura has confirmed that the registration period will open during August. Interested teams will be able to formalise their participation through the website www.vmrm.net, where the rest of the official information about the event, including schedules, regulations, and news, will also be published.
The Rallye Villa de Teror is supported by the Teror City Council, particularly by the Sports Department, and in collaboration with the local company Aguas de Teror. Additionally, the event is backed by the Canary Islands Automobile Federation, the Las Palmas Automobile Federation, and the Sports Department of the Gran Canaria Cabildo, through the Insular Sports Institute.
The 2026 edition promises to maintain the essence of previous ones, with a route that combines fast and technical stages on the roads of northern Gran Canaria. Motor enthusiasts on the island are already eagerly awaiting an event that each year brings together numerous teams and followers in Teror and its surroundings.
For local residents, the rally is a prominent event on the local sports calendar, with traffic disruptions and a large influx of spectators at the most emblematic points. The organisation recommends staying alert to the road closure schedules, which will be communicated soon.
With the publication of the stages, the countdown to the 45th Rallye Villa de Teror is already underway. August will be the key moment for registrations, while teams finalise their technical and logistical preparations to face a challenge that combines tradition and demand.
