The piece, which was performed in November at the Auditorio de Teror, is a monologue interpreted by actress Marta Fuenar. The play revives the story of Francisca de Pedraza, the woman who in 1624 achieved the first ruling against gender violence in Spain. Through an emotional narrative, 'reVIVIRla' seeks to do justice to the thousands of anonymous women who have suffered violence throughout history.
Jon Arráez, also co-author of the dramaturgy alongside Marta Fuenar, has highlighted the importance of the award for an emerging company like Sesea Producciones, which has only been active for three years. “This award is one of the most important that can be obtained; it represents a springboard and a window to new opportunities,” the director stated.
