The Youth Department of Teror has published the list of young people accepted for the camp 'Islas Afortunadas 2026', which will take place from 24 to 28 August in Mogán. The deadline to pay 60 euros (for residents) or 90 euros (for non-residents) ends on 24 July.

Young people from Teror can now check if they have been selected for the camp 'Islas Afortunadas 2026'. The Youth Department of the Teror City Council has made public the list of accepted participants for this activity that will take place from 24 to 28 August at the Joaquín Blanco Sailing School, in Puerto Rico (Mogán).

Payment deadline until 24 July

Families of the accepted participants must make the payment before Friday 24 July. The cost is 60 euros for young people registered in Teror and 90 euros for those not registered. Payment should be made via bank transfer to the account ES70 0182 4958 1000 1500 0000, indicating in the reference 'Campamento Islas Afortunadas + Name and Surname of the minor'.

Once the payment is made, the receipt must be sent to the email juventud@teror.es before 24 July. The council reminds that if any family decides to decline the spot, they must notify the same address as soon as possible to allow for reassignment.

Informative meeting for families

On 17 August, an informative meeting will be held for the families of the participants, in two sessions: at 17:00 and 18:00 hours. Once the final list is confirmed, each family will be assigned the corresponding session. The meeting will serve to address questions about the camp logistics and planned activities.

The young people will travel to Puerto Rico on Monday 24 August and return to Teror on Friday 28 August. During these days, they will stay at the facilities of the Sailing School, located right on the beachfront, a privileged setting to enjoy the last moments of summer.

Water activities and camaraderie

The camp is aimed at young people born between 2009 and 2012, that is, aged 14 to 17 years. It will offer a wide variety of water activities, led by the professional team of the Sailing School. The idea is to combine sports with camaraderie, in a safe and supervised environment.

The Youth Department reminds that it is essential to know how to swim to participate. Those interested who have not yet checked the list can do so on the Teror City Council website. Places are limited, and once the payment deadline closes, the final list will be published.

For the young people of Teror, this is a golden opportunity to say goodbye to summer with a different experience, making new friends and enjoying the sea. And all at a very reasonable price, especially for residents, who save 30 euros compared to those from outside. A bargain considering it includes accommodation, food, and activities. However, those who do not pay on time will miss out.
