A generational change has arrived at the San Cayetano Residents' Association in the El Pino neighbourhood of Teror. On July 8, a new Board of Directors took charge of the entity, with a team mostly composed of young people who grew up in the neighbourhood and are now taking on the challenge of keeping the association alive.
The new president, Francisco José Naranjo Santana, leads a group that includes José Miguel González Domínguez as vice president, Patricia del Pino Sánchez Herrera as secretary, and Dolores Rita Ojeda Ortega as treasurer. Eleven members complete the board, all of whom are residents of the neighbourhood.
A Generational Change with Local Roots
The new leaders emphasise that their commitment stems from their connection to the neighbourhood where they grew up and the values passed down by their families.
