The Málaga singer presents his 'Global Tour KM0' at the Port Venue, accompanied by La Delio Valdez, Gonzalo Hermida, and Dani Kleylein.
The Port Venue in Santa Cruz de La Palma will once again become a musical epicentre on Saturday, August 8, with the celebration of a new edition of Los 40 Capital Pop. The festival, which has already established itself as a summer event on the island, brings Pablo Alborán as the headliner, who will perform live on his 'Global Tour KM0'.
Alborán arrives in La Palma at the midpoint of his tour, with a repertoire that combines his greatest hits with songs from his latest album, in which the Málaga artist showcases an evolution towards a more mature sound. The 'Global Tour KM0' has already visited several Spanish cities before arriving in the archipelago.
Sharing the stage with Alborán will be the Argentine band La Delio Valdez, formed in Buenos Aires in 2009 and specialising in orchestral cumbia. Their proposal, featuring a brass section and percussion typical of large Latin American orchestras, has managed to carve out a niche in the music scene with songs like 'Inocente' and 'Adiós Amor'.
Completing the lineup is the Cádiz singer-songwriter and producer Gonzalo Hermida, who has composed for artists such as Pastora Soler, Malú, and Sergio Dalma, and is now presenting his own album 'Bandera Libertad', along with Dani Kleylein, one of the emerging voices in Spanish pop, as confirmed by the festival's organisation.
The Port Venue in Santa Cruz de La Palma is not a new stage for Los 40 Capital Pop. In 2024, the concert featured Dani Fernández and La Oreja de Van Gogh, alongside Álvaro de Luna and Julia Debis, in a night that attracted thousands of attendees. The festival has thus become an unmissable event in the cultural calendar of the island during August, taking advantage of one of the venues with the largest capacity in the capital of La Palma.
The organisation is managed by T-Rec and El Time Eventos, a production company with experience in the archipelago behind events such as ResisTIME, Somos Latinos, Aridane + Dance, or Tazacorte Last Paradise. The Santa Cruz de La Palma City Council collaborates in the celebration, while the Cabildo of La Palma and the brand Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida sponsor the festival.
Tickets for the concert are already on sale through the usual channels of the organisation, with prices ranging from 35 to 55 euros, according to initial information. The organisers recommend purchasing tickets in advance due to the expected high demand, given the popularity of the headliner and the venue's capacity limitations.
The event on August 8 promises a night of romantic pop, orchestral cumbia, and new voices from the Spanish music scene, all set against the sea, in an environment that combines music with the characteristic landscape of La Palma. Attendees are advised to arrive with enough time, as access to the port venue usually experiences queues in the hours leading up to the concerts.
