The XX edition of Campus Suma has concluded its fourth week of activity with the closure of its venues in Arico, La Cuadra del Palmero (El Médano) and Los Silos, in Tenerife.
On Saturday, June 18, the Campus Suma celebrated the closure of three of its venues on the island of Tenerife, thus surpassing the fourth week of summer. In Arico, the event took place at the Campo Municipal Francisco Rodríguez de Azero y Salazar, with the presence of the campus director, Samantha Tormo, the mayor Andrés Martínez and the councillor for Sports, Eudelia Pestano, who presented diplomas and gifts to the participants.
Closure in the south and north of Tenerife
At the venue of La Cuadra del Palmero, in El Médano, the closure was coordinated by Cristo Marrero and included the participation of Monsi Brito from the Tenerife Youth Football Area. Attendees received their accreditation diplomas, thus concluding the activities in the south of the island.
In the north, Los Silos also bid farewell to its week of campus with an event attended by the councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Sosa. The previous Friday, Samantha Tormo and the councillor visited the facilities and presented gifts to the participating children.
Next stops: San Miguel, Icod and El Hierro
After these closures, the XX Campus Suma will continue next week in San Miguel de Abona, Icod de los Vinos and, for the first time in this edition, on the island of El Hierro. As in previous years, the activity will tour the four islands of the western province during June, July and August, with sessions in small groups to promote cooperation and values such as friendship, teamwork and fair play.
Registrations for the still available venues and the I Campus Suma Plus remain open through the official website of the Club Deportivo Tenerife. Interested parties can check all the information and sign up their children to enjoy a summer experience that combines sports and education in values.
For the parents of Tenerife, this initiative represents an opportunity for the little ones to start in football under the guidance of the blanquiazul youth academy, in a safe and fun environment. Next week, the venues in San Miguel de Abona and Icod de los Vinos will join the offer, along with the new venue in El Hierro, thus expanding the campus's reach across the entire province.
