The 'Guía de Verano' programme concludes this Friday, 31st July, with a trip to Amadores beach, the fifth and final outing of the season organised by the Popular University of Guía.

The Popular University of Guía is wrapping up its 'Guía de Verano' programme this Friday, 31st July, with an excursion to Amadores beach. This is the fifth and final outing of a summer schedule that began on 3rd July in Anfi del Mar and has included destinations such as Aqualand, Puerto Rico, and Lago Taurito.

The councillor for the area, Ruth Martín Rodríguez, has positively assessed the reception of the initiative. “The most important thing is that we have fully met our objective of offering our residents leisure alternatives to enjoy with their families during the holidays,” she stated. The councillor added that “seeing so many families from our municipality share quality time, strengthen bonds, and enjoy together has been the best reward for the work done by the Popular University.”

Registrations for this last outing can be formalised at the headquarters of the Popular University of Guía, located in the Multi-Purpose Building of San Roque. The office hours are from 9:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday, and in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 16:00 to 19:30.

For more information, interested parties can contact via the phones 928 55 59 55 or 928 89 65 55 (extensions 0583 and 0576).

With this excursion to Amadores beach, the municipality of Guía bids farewell to a summer in which the Popular University has offered accessible leisure alternatives for all ages, promoting family coexistence and the enjoyment of free time.
