Four young players, three of whom are in their first season as juniors and one cadet, have earned the opportunity to train with Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, a team in the Men's National First Division. Preseason training will begin on August 10, and they will be under the guidance of coach Juanmi Pérez from day one.
The three juniors making the leap are pivot Sebastián Eduardo Díaz Guadalupe, born on June 18, 2010; left winger Iago Moreno Seijo, born on July 23, 2010; and back Mencey Pérez Hernández, born on March 29, 2010. All three completed their time in the cadet category and regularly participated with the youth team last season. They now face the challenge of competing against more experienced and higher-level players.
The youngest in the group is central Marcos Fajardo Camejo, born on October 18, 2011, who is still in his second season as a cadet. Despite his age, his potential and ambition on the court have opened the doors to the first team for him. He will be the only cadet in the training setup, which speaks to his talent and the trust the club has in him.
Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, competing in the Men's National First Division, thus strengthens its ties with the San José Obrero youth system.
